Friends of the Butte Veterans Treatment Court, Inc.

The Friends of the Butte Veterans Treatment Court, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Butte, Montana, was formed in 2019 to organize a community of support for veterans transitioning back to civilian life including justice-involved veterans.

One of our primary goals: help establish the Butte-Silver Bow Veterans Treatment Court to provide treatment, accountability and structure for veterans involved in the criminal justice system due to substance abuse and/or mental health issues and build a Veteran Mentor Program to support the Veterans Treatment Court participants.

Through the combined effort of so many community members, we are accomplishing this goal. On May 25, 2021, our first class of 10 volunteer Veteran Mentors were sworn in to serve the Butte-Silver Bow Veterans Treatment Court which officially opened on June 1, 2021.
